Three types of oil casing and other uses: Surface casing of oil casing: 1. Used to block the unstable, soft, prone to collapse, leaky geological structures and water layers at the upper end; 2. To assemble the wellhead Device to control blowout; 3. Support part of the weight of technical casing and reservoir casing. The thickness of the surface casing depends on the actual situation, and is generally tens to hundreds of meters or deeper (30 to 1500 meters). When drilling a high-pressure gas well, if the top rock layer is loose and cracked, the surface layer needs to be deeper to prevent high-pressure gas from flowing out of the road surface. Its function is to seal the road surface, prevent the wellhead from collapsing, and form a drilling fluid circulation channel to facilitate long-term drilling.

Petroleum casing technology casing: 1. Used to completely seal complex geological structures, serious loss layers, and oil, gas, water and water layers where drilling fluid is difficult to control, to avoid pore expansion. 2. In high-inclination directional wells, insert the casing directly under this part to facilitate and safely drill the directional well. 3. Provide opportunities for assembling tail pipes of well control machinery and equipment to avoid blowouts, leaks and suspensions, and protect oil casings.

Oil casing oil layer casing: used to separate the target layer from other layers; separate the oil and gas layers under different pressures, and create oil and gas channels in the oil well to ensure long-term production.
