So that although the end of the drill pipe body is heated and forged, it still has excellent mechanical properties. After heat treatment, after testing, the mechanical property index of the pipe end of the company is consistent with the mechanical property index of the mother pipe.
The advantage of large-tonnage hydraulic upsetting lies in that the mechanical properties of the product's thickened part are consistent with the properties of the mother pipe, which is more in line with the production process of drill pipes and the drilling usage process. It provides a good solution for the manufacture of drill pipes, especially for ensuring the mechanical properties of drill pipe welds.
Adopting an advanced domestic regenerative combustion walking beam heating furnace ensures the uniformity of temperature when heating the pipe body. The side-opening furnace door ensures the consistency of temperature when the pipe body is discharged from the furnace, making it easier for the pipe body to obtain the same cooling speed during quenching and cooling. After heat treatment, the pipe body has a dense structure, uniform mechanical properties, and high impact toughness. After the pipe body exits the quenching furnace, it undergoes full-length descaling, making the appearance of the heat-treated pipe body smooth and improving the accuracy of subsequent nondestructive testing, effectively ensuring product quality. Through drilling tool design performance software, calculate the pipe body and joint parameters, and automatically detect whether the designed parameters theoretically meet the actual requirements.
